One Earth Symposium (OES)
One Earth Symposium (OES) is an annual one-day symposium slated to take place in Term 2 Week 9 or Week 10. OES is aimed at educators via keynote speaker(s), oral presentations, panel discussions, workshops, gamified experiences, and networking sessions.
OES provides a professional development platform for educators to share and discuss the latest green education practices and initiatives related to teaching and learning of sustainability. Through OES, teacher participants are provided opportunities to network as lesson designers and collaborate in sustainability education practices. The objectives of OES are:

Provide an engaging and supportive platform/community to learn, share and discuss possible practices and initiatives in sustainability teaching and learning

Provide opportunities to learn from real-world case studies from local & international institutions

Provide experiences for attendees to engage in latest sustainability education practices/ innovations

Explore how attendees can incorporate sustainability themes into instructional & non- instructional programmes.
OES Programme Components:
OES is championed and managed by Terra SG and supported by social enterprises, Circular Asia and The Carbon Academy. The venue partner for OES is Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre.
For schools that are interested in participating, the sign-up link via FormSG will be sent out to all schools sometime in April. The Organising Committee will be confirming the participation of the attendees within 1 week of the form submission.
